I first encountered Tadek Beutlich’s work at Watermans Arts Centre in Hounslow nearly 20 years ago and have since then been an avid fan. So when my friend Steph Fuller who is Director at Ditchling Museum shared that she and her team were curating Tadek’s work at the venue this Spring, it felt like a gift.
Admired in textile circles he has never really had the light thrown on his ways of doing things, his brilliant use of the medium and how he shared the horror of his experiences through it.
