Sometimes you have to dig deep into the soil to look at the roots for evidence that you’ve not been looking out or looking in as you should. These roots still were able to produce one beautiful shower of orange Clivia. A plant hanging on and hopeful still.

Painful tears suspended in unknown futures. So hard to keep with the on and on in such fragile times with loved ones in Iran but my friend when we walk, always gets me to stop and just look and feel the still-kin of it.

So taken with how lonely life feels in the unrelenting dank winter and i’ve been luckier than most in that i delayed my start of year in the UK.

There’s a strange beauty in us travailing the best way we can, being present and aware and open whilst swaddled in winter coats. And most importantly battling through the rain to seek company and succour for the soul and quite simply to support each other.
